2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, information created when you use Brandclip, information from integrations you connect, and technical information collected automatically.

• Account, authentication, and session information, such as your name, email address, profile image, authentication provider, account identifiers, session records, and sign-in activity.
• Waitlist, contact, onboarding, and support information, such as email addresses, messages, product preferences, feedback, and communications with us.
• Project and product information, such as product names, descriptions, brands, audiences, scripts, storyboard data, scenes, captions, editing choices, generation settings, and project metadata.
• Prompts and queries, including text prompts, instructions, search terms, product selections, and other inputs you submit to generate or edit content.
• Uploaded and generated media, such as product images, reference images, avatars, generated images, voiceovers, word timestamps, rendered videos, thumbnails, previews, and related asset metadata.
• Shopify integration data if you connect a Shopify store, such as store domain, authorization status, access tokens, product details, product images, and product identifiers needed to browse or import store content.
• Billing, credit, and transactional information if paid features are used. Payment details may be processed by our payment provider rather than stored directly by us.
• Analytics, device, browser, log, cookie, diagnostic, and security information, such as IP address, pages viewed, feature usage, timestamps, browser and device data, errors, performance data, and abuse-prevention signals.

3. Sources of information

We receive information from the following sources:

• You, when you create an account, join the waitlist, contact us, upload content, connect integrations, or use Brandclip features.
• Your use of the service, including projects, generation jobs, uploaded assets, generated outputs, logs, and analytics events.
• Authentication providers, such as Google, when you choose to sign in through them.
• Connected services, such as Shopify, when you authorize Brandclip to access store data.
• Service providers that support payment processing, email delivery, analytics, security, error monitoring, hosting, and infrastructure.

4. How we use information

• Provide, maintain, personalize, and operate Brandclip, including accounts, projects, integrations, asset storage, previews, rendering, and downloads.
• Generate scripts, visuals, voiceovers, videos, captions, thumbnails, and other AI or media outputs you request.
• Authenticate users, manage sessions, protect accounts, detect abuse, enforce usage limits, and secure the service.
• Process subscriptions, payments, credits, invoices, refunds, and related transactional records.
• Respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, send service messages, and communicate about your account or projects.
• Understand feature usage, evaluate product performance, operate feature flags, debug errors, monitor reliability, and improve Brandclip.
• Comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, protect rights and safety, and respond to lawful requests.
• Send product updates or marketing communications where permitted by law. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.

5. Google account data

If you choose to sign in with Google, Brandclip may receive Google account information that you approve, such as your name, email address, profile image, and Google account ID. We use this information to authenticate you, create and maintain your Brandclip account, secure access to the service, provide support, and operate Brandclip.

We store Google account data only as needed for your Brandclip account and delete or de-identify it when it is no longer needed, subject to legal, security, and backup retention requirements. You may revoke Brandclip's access through your Google account settings, but revocation may not delete data that was already received by Brandclip.

Brandclip's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, use it to determine creditworthiness, or transfer it for unrelated purposes. We share Google user data only with service providers that help us operate Brandclip, when required by law, or when you direct us to do so.

6. AI and media processing

Brandclip uses AI and media services to create short-form product videos. Your prompts, product details, uploaded media, scripts, generated assets, voice choices, and editing instructions may be processed by providers that help generate text, images, voiceovers, videos, captions, storage, delivery, and related infrastructure.

Current provider categories and examples include Cloudflare Workers, R2, and AI Gateway for hosting, storage, delivery, and AI routing; Google Vertex AI, Gemini, and Veo for text, image, and video generation; ElevenLabs for text-to-speech, voice previews, audio generation, and timestamp alignment; Resend for email delivery; Polar for billing; PostHog for analytics and feature flags; Sentry and BetterStack for monitoring, logs, diagnostics, and reliability; and Shopify when you connect a store integration.

Only provide content that you have the right to use. Generated outputs may depend on third-party services and models. Do not submit sensitive personal data, confidential information, regulated health or financial data, or content you are not permitted to process through AI services.

7. Cookies, analytics, and choices

We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember preferences, understand usage, measure performance, operate feature flags, and protect the service. Browser settings may allow you to block or delete cookies, but some features may not work correctly without them.

Brandclip uses PostHog analytics where configured, and PostHog is configured to respect browser Do Not Track signals. You can also use browser privacy controls, content blockers, and cookie settings to limit certain tracking technologies.

You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link where provided or by contacting us. You can revoke connected services, such as Google or Shopify, through those providers or Brandclip where supported, but revocation may not automatically remove data already imported into Brandclip. 8. Service providers and sharing

We may share information with vendors that provide hosting, cloud infrastructure, authentication, email delivery, analytics, payment processing, AI generation, voice generation, media processing, storage, content delivery, monitoring, logging, security, and customer support services.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, investigate abuse or security issues, enforce agreements, in connection with a business transfer, or with your direction or consent. We do not sell personal information.

9. Retention and deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Brandclip, maintain accounts and projects, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the service. Retention periods vary by data type and context.

Account, project, integration, uploaded content, and generated media data may be kept while your account or project remains active. When content is deleted or an account deletion request is completed, we aim to remove the relevant information from active systems, subject to technical limits, backup retention, legal holds, security needs, and records we must keep.

Operational logs, diagnostics, security records, analytics data, billing records, invoices, and legal records may be retained for different periods. We may retain anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies you.

10. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

11. International transfers

Prismic Studio operates from the Netherlands, but Brandclip and its service providers may process information in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal data, such as standard contractual clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

12. EU and GDPR information

For personal data processed under the General Data Protection Regulation, Prismic Studio is the controller unless a separate agreement says otherwise. We process personal data based on one or more legal bases, including performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, and compliance with legal obligations.

Examples include using account and project data to provide the service, relying on legitimate interests for security, diagnostics, product improvement, and fraud prevention, using consent where required for marketing or optional technologies, and keeping billing or legal records where required by law.

13. Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another region with privacy rights, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise privacy rights, contact us at info@prismic.studio. We may need to verify your request. If you are in the EU, you may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority or your local data protection authority.

14. Third-party services and sites

Brandclip may link to or integrate with third-party services, websites, models, platforms, and APIs. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Connecting a third-party service may allow Brandclip and that service to exchange information needed for the integration.

15. Sensitive data

Brandclip is not designed for sensitive personal data or regulated data. Do not submit government identifiers, health information, biometric identifiers, payment card numbers outside approved billing flows, passwords, confidential secrets, or content that requires special legal protections unless we have expressly agreed to process it.

16. Children

Brandclip is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

17. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes may be communicated through the service or by email where appropriate.
